Horses

CARD's herd of therapy horses is 18 strong. Each therapy horse is carefully selected for temperament and movement to offer a specific type of movement (smooth, bumpy, lots of movement or minimum movement) to maximize the benefits of therapy for each disabled rider. CARD's horses range in size in order to accommodate the range of riders we work with.

CARD is always looking for quiet and sound horses between 6 and 18 years old and 14.2-17 hands high. If you have a horse that you are interested in donating to the CARD program please contact Program Director Seana Waldon by calling 416-667-8600 x82 or use the link below to send her an email message.

CARD is also always looking for quality retirement homes for our current horses. If you have an interest in providing a loving and caring home for one of our horses, please contact Program Director Seana Waldon by calling 416-667-8600 x82 or use the link below to send her an email message.
