A CHAMPAGNE BRUNCH & MATINEE PERFORMANCE
in support of CARD
at the Royal Winter Fair

On November 7, 2009, CARD was thrilled to host a Champagne Brunch at the Royal Winter Fair, followed by a special main ring demonstration featuring some of CARD's many talented riders with disabilities, volunteers and horses!

Highlights of the event included a visit from their Honours, the Lieutenant Governor David C. Onley and Mrs. Ruth Ann Onley and the Honourable Ken Dryden. Melissa Grelo, host of the CP 24 Morning Show, was outstanding as event MC and narrator of the demonstration. And the demonstration? An outstanding display of therapeutic riding and horsemanship from Angel, Aoun, Eden, Kristof, Brock, Clarissa & former CARD rider and Paralympic Equestrian, Dax Adam.

Proceeds from the Champagne Brunch & Matinee Performance go directly to support CARD's therapeutic riding program and the more than 500 children and adults with disabilities each year whose lives are improved through the magical connection with horses CARD's program fosters!
