Since 1969, CARD's therapeutic riding program has improved the lives of literally thousands of children and adults with cognitive, physical and psychological disabilities across the GTA. As we look back over 40 years of memories, successes, breakthroughs, community, celebration, joy, remarkable riders, volunteers, family and friends we are truly amazed at the direct and positive impact CARD's program and horses have had on so many people's lives. The magical connection between horse and rider that is fostered at CARD is leaving behind a legacy that our founders, Dr. Renaud and Mr. Bauer, could never have imagined!
CARD is 40 years young and growing - we hope you'll be a part of all our celebrations this year! CARD's anniversary will kick off with CARDathon in the Park 2009 - and we invite you all to come out and pledge your support for CARD riders, volunteers and horses!
